About Us
Galak Electronics was established in 2012 as source of educational kits for students, hobbyists and aspiring engineers. Unlike many other kit providers, our
kits are thouroughly researched and tested for reliabilty and performance. We also provide instructions, board layouts and schematics, which give the user a complete
explanation of key elements and theory of operation for every kit. We always welcome input on our designs and we are constantly striving to improve them. With over 25 years of
engineering experience, we guarantee our kits will operate reliably. For that reason we back them with a no-questions-asked money back guarantee. Moreover, every kit we offer
comes with a 1-year limited warranty (see warranty terms below).
1-Year Limited Warranty (Assembled Kits)
For a period of one (1) year after the date of original shipment, products manufactured by Galak Electronics are guaranteed to operate properly and be free of defects in materials
and workmanship. Should a Galak Electronics product fail during the warranty period, return it to us. We will repair it, or at our discretion, replace it at no additional charge,
and pay the return shipping cost. If the failure is found to be due to user negligence (i.e. exceeding maximum rated specifications, water damage, short circuits) you will be
charged a maximum cost no more than the original purchase price plus return shipping cost.
1-Year Limited Warranty (Unassembled Kits)
For a period of one (1) year after the date of original shipment, kits provided by Galak Electronics are warranted to be free of defects in components and PC boards. Galak Electronics
does not warrant the assembly or operation of kits assembled by the user. If the kits does not operate properly once assembled, ship the assembled kit to us and we will evaluate
the kit. If the kit is found to be defective due to material defects, we will repair it, or at our discretion, replace it at no additional charge, and pay the return shipping cost.
If the failure is due to improper assembly and/or due to user negligence (i.e. exceeding maximum rated specifications, water damage, short circuits), you will be charged a maximum
cost no more than the original purchase price plus return shipping cost.
