Whether measuring temperatures indoors or out, the Digital Thermometer Kit is the perfect solution. Using a highly accurate processing algorithm, this kit precisely measures the probe value and converts it into either degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit. It can be operated from either DC power or batteries and includes a weather resistant probe.

The unassembled kit includes instructions (including schematic and parts placement) and all the components to build one complete Digital Thermometer. A soldering iron, solder and a pair of cutters are required for assembly. Batteries and holder not included.

FEATURES:

User selectable temperature select switch for Celsius or Fahrenheit with corresponding LEDs.
Power reduction mode for battery operation (4 AA batteries recommended for extended operation).
Wide temperature range from -40°C to 125°C (-40°F to 256°F) using external temperature probe.
Single button for activating display with soft turn off, reducing current drain to just 4mA.
Automatically adjusts display range to read from -9.9 to 99.9 or -40 to -10 and 100 to 256.
